LUS Jungsun – A Fashion Photographer Telling Stories Through Art and Philosophy
Hello, I am LUS Jungsun, a fashion photographer based in Seoul, South Korea. I run LUS Studio, a creative space where I bring my projects to life—from conceptualizing and shooting to editing and final production.
My work does not stop at creating visually striking images. I aim to craft photographs that convey aesthetic and philosophical depth, delivering stories that resonate beyond the surface. Each photograph is designed to connect emotionally with its audience, serving not only as a visual experience but also as a narrative medium that invites deeper contemplation.
From the age of eight to nineteen, I pursued a path as an aspiring artist, studying various disciplines of art, including sculpture and design. After graduating from a design-focused high school, I transitioned to photography, discovering a medium that allowed me to merge fashion, art, and the complexities of human stories. This artistic foundation enriches my work with unique compositions and profound meaning, elevating my images beyond mere beauty.
Currently, I collaborate with a diverse range of creatives, including fashion designers, visual directors, models, hair and makeup artists, and other artists. My projects have been featured in international publications and exhibitions, showcasing my commitment to producing work that merges fashion’s glamorous appeal with fine art’s philosophical narratives. Drawing inspiration from literature, music, and philosophical inquiry, my photography experiments with visual storytelling to provide audiences with fresh perspectives and meaningful experiences.
